Waking up the next morning, snuggled up in blankets, Willow didnât remember putting on herself the night before. She turned on her side, coming face to face with Micheal. The events of the previous night coming back to her. Micheal moved in his sleep, laying his arm across her waist, tightening his hold around her.
âMichealâ Willow said softly, hoping that would wake him up. But by the looks of his eyes remaining closed, she tried again.
âMicheal, please wake up,â she said again, trying to shake him gently, as he moved his head against the pillow. His long hair moving in front of his face.
âWillow,â he murmured in his sleep, as Willow covered her mouth, trying to hold in her laughter at the realization that he talks in his sleep. Which was the move that woke him up. He groaned and opened his brown eyes and looked directly at her.
âGood morning, Willow,â he said, his voice still husky from sleep.
âGood morning,â Willow replied, as she laughed, hopping out of bed.
âWhatâs so funny?â he asked, as Willow looked back at him.
âOh, nothing, nothing at all,â she said as she walked out of her room with a big smile on her face as she closed the door behind her and started laughing again. Willow walked into the kitchen; mind set on making coffee.
âI knew it!â Amanda shouted behind her, causing Willow to jump, just as she was opening up the container of coffee grinds. The brown grainy substance all over her arms. She turned around to face Amanda, who was holding onto the counter to keep herself upright as she laughed at her friend.
âOh my god, I didnât mean to scare you, but you shouldâve seen your face,â Amanda said, wiping tears from her face as Willow was just glaring at her friend.
âYouâll be the one to clean up the grounds on the floor for that,â
âFine, as long as you tell me what happened after I went to sleep last night. Did you, do it?â Amanda asked, as Willow was filling up the coffeemaker, leaning against the counter. Amandaâs eyes scanned her friend up and down.
âNo sex hair, but you have a hickey on both sides of your neck. Which I did notice last night when I came home, but I did not want to mention it then,â Amanda mentioned with a smirk on her face.
âNothing happened. He wanted me to open up about the nightmare that I had last night. And he mentioned he would try nothing until after taking me out on a date,â Willow replied, watching the smile creep up on Amandaâs face.
âAre you serious? He wants to take you out on a date. When? Where?â Amanda asked, putting her hands on Willowâs shoulders.
âAll I know is that itâs Saturday. And he said that I needed to wear a shirt, jeans and comfortable shoes for where we are going,â
âOh, Iâm definitely helping you out with this one. Heâs not getting away,â Amanda said, excitement in her voice jumping up and down.
